SAXON Q develops and produces mobile quantum computers. With NV technology and diamond chips, the system runs without cooling, unlike most other quantum technologies, and is insensitive to vibration. The idea came from founders Marius Grundmann and Jan Meijer, both professors at Leipzig University; they founded SAXON Q in 2021.
In the heart of Leipzig, around twenty physicists and computer scientists work on mobile quantum computers. They benefit from the proximity to Leipzig University and its outstanding research. Together they bring their vision to the streets.
